A box plan, not an order

The discovery box builder is a place to arrange sample packages and see a plan take shape. A selection in a slot is not a reservation, a purchase or a promise that a particular box will exist at launch. You can explore combinations without interpreting the package totals as an order confirmation. Dawnjar remains a preview: its records and figures are illustrative, prices are in CAD, and boxes cannot be ordered until launch.

Read the builder's totals as a description of the packages you selected, not a suggested amount to eat in one sitting. Package protein adds together the protein represented by all the recorded servings in those packages. That is different from the protein in a single snack break. A powder tub and an individually wrapped snack can contribute very differently to a package total because their serving counts differ. Compare the individual cards before deciding what the combined figure means for your plan.

How to build a varied box

Begin with a contrast you actually want to explore: sweet beside savoury, or crunchy beside chewy. Adding two different flavour names does not necessarily create two different eating formats. A crisp bar and a chip still differ in portion, ingredients and packaging; a soft bar and jerky offer different kinds of chew. Use the record descriptions to identify those contrasts rather than assuming the thumbnail tells you everything about texture.

Next, compare protein per 100 calories across the picks. That common ratio is useful when a drink, bar and pantry item have very different serving sizes, but it is not the same as protein per package. A large multi-serving package can lead the package total while a smaller package leads the ratio. Keep both questions visible. Variety is a preference, not an instruction to fill every slot with a different category, and a plan with similar formats may be the one you prefer.

    Reading labels across mixed formats

A bar label may describe one bar, a snack bag may describe only part of its contents, and a powder uses a measured scoop. Before comparing the selected records, identify the serving each figure represents. Package count, serving count and the number of slots are three different quantities. One selected package can contain several servings; adding it once does not make those servings a single portion.

For a powder or cooking mix, distinguish the record's own figures from ingredients added during preparation. For a drink, check whether the stated serving matches the bottle size. For a bag you intend to split, use the corresponding portion rather than assigning the whole bag to each share. Read the label for allergens and storage directions. Keep a note of the format you were testing so a later replacement can be compared with the same purpose, rather than simply with the largest combined number.

    Questions

Can I order a discovery box now?

Box plans are for the preview only; they cannot be ordered yet. The selected packages are sample records, with ordering opening at launch.

Does package protein mean protein in one serving?

Package protein represents the recorded servings across a package. Use the individual serving figure when comparing a single bar, bag portion or scoop.

Must every pick come from a different category?

No. You can plan contrasts in flavour or texture within a category, or combine several formats. The builder does not require a particular nutritional balance.

Will my preview plan establish a launch box?

It does not reserve products or establish a future offer. Treat the current selection and CAD totals as an illustrative planning exercise.
